The best outcome for Trump is he somehow pushes the Gaetz confirmation through the senate, which would be a quite ugly and almost unlikely process. Trump anticipates that once Gaetz becomes AG, lots of US district attorneys would resign because they can't tolerate someone like Gaetz to be their boss. Then Trump gets to nominate more new DAs. This way MAGA will control the entire judiciary system.
